The changing climate is the scientifically established fact already. Significant long-term risks, including melting ice in Greenland and West Antarctica, the drastic reduction of biological diversity and change of direction of the Gulf Stream can seriously alter weather patterns and constitute a threat to humanity as a whole.
Among the causes of the climate change scientists call the offset of the orbit and tilt of the Earth, changes in solar activity, volcanic eruptions, increasing atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases, changes in land use. Last but not least is the role played by urbanization: today in about half of the world's population lives in urban areas, though the city with a population of 1 million people a day "produces" 25 tons of carbon dioxide and 300 tons of sewage. In addition, the mega-cities air temperature is slightly higher because of the large number of "hot" objects (buildings, machines). So, it is not a surprise that "global warming" is often associated with growing industrial activities.
Some scientists deny the fact that it is a man who is the main cause of this catastrophic climate change. But his deeds often lead to changes in the nature, do not they? What it is: the revenge of nature for the fact that people abuse its resources too actively? Or is the problem of global warming not so terrible as it may seem? Currently, predictions are such that humanity may soon be in a position of the heroes of the movie "Water World", where the disaster of almost all land was under water due to melting polar ice.
hey, listen, there are a lot of theories.
ReplyDeleteone can tell that we will burn, the other that we will sink, so on so forth.
Be frank, do you believe in this shit?
Pretty useful information. Thnx
ReplyDeleteYes we're the killers of our planet! And we can't stop causing damages, because we can't abandon on the benefits we use all the time...Pity!
ReplyDeletei do not think we'll burn. More chances are with ice melting. It will probably be the secong Great Flood. We've already killed our Planet. and all we can do now - just sit and wait for its revenge....
ReplyDeleteCome on, guys! i am sure that we'll not feel much this disaster. the other thing is our kids and grandchildren. i am afraid of thinking what can happen to them...
ReplyDeleteit is very wide problem. there are many discussions and theories about this topic. it is very important of course, but ithink that we should have thought about it before. now we can just discuss, tell how everything is bad and so one but we have nothing to do with that.
ReplyDeletesure, the only man here as i can see...
